Haringey City Growth, a business-led economic development initiative, aims to increase the prosperity and growth of the Borough's businesses. In order for it to succeed, Haringey's business community needs to join us to drive it forward.

Our priority is to find out exactly what you need to ensure your business flourishes and grows, so that we can provide the services and support to help you achieve these goals.
There is a significant budget for HCG businesses to use to act as a magnet to attract further funding. As a Haringey City Growth business, together with fellow members, you would make the decisions on how it would be allocated in order for the objectives to be met.
But you need to be involved with HCG to make a difference.
How will it work?
Five business sectors have been selected for support from the City Growth initiative:

Food & Drink: production and distribution
Business Services
Sport, Leisure and Tourism
Work has started with four recently appointed Cluster Developers who are going out talking to Haringey businesses to find out what the needs and priorities are in the borough. This is the initial stage.
One of the key strategies of HCG is the creation of Cluster Action Teams (CATs). After the initial stage CATs will be developed in each of the five sectors, which will be made up of related and supporting businesses within the cluster. The CAT members will work together to capitalise on their combined business know-how and contacts to drive innovation, improve productivity and local prosperity. They will provide the direction and determine the priorities by identifying the challenges and opportunities for their sector. This might include pursuing opportunities to pool resources, developing joint facilities, exploiting marketing partnerships and strengthening business influence over education, training and local employment. There are budgets available for each Cluster to use for development.
But you need to be involved with HCG to make a difference.
